David is an NASM Certified Personal Trainer and NASM Certified Performance Enhancement Specialist. “When I coach people, I emphasize the positive and focus on their goals. Whatever it is, my job is to help you achieve it. We get one life, so create the best version of you possible.” He lives with his wife Amy in Orchard Park, NY.
“The goal of strength training for an athlete isn’t to make them a better weightlifter, it’s to make them better at their chosen sport. The same is true for the general population. We aren’t looking to create world class athletes, we’re looking to have people move more efficiently and have higher quality activities of daily living.”
He is a 4-time New York State and 1-time World Champion powerlifter. He has held 15 state and 5 world records in 3 weight classes. A passionate believer in the value of exercise, David believes that everyone can benefit from being stronger.
Outside of his professional life, he is a Christian man who values individuality and liberty. The relationships with people in his life is something he greatly values, and he looks forward to every minute spent with them. His passions include fitness, the study of history, fishing, and BGSU Hockey.
"I believe we get one life, it's not a dress rehearsal, and we need to relentlessly work towards creating the best version of ourselves possible. I believe in pursuing excellence and continuous life long learning. I'm an avid reader and will look at anything that makes me a better trainer."
