I am a 54-year-old woman, who had a full right knee replacement at the age of 50. Years prior to my knee replacement I was very active and worked out very diligently. I was and am an interior designer, a skier, a Gardner, and was very active on a daily basis. I had 4 arthroscopic surgeries, with no positive long term results. With no other real alternatives, I decided to replace my knee. After my knee replacement surgery, my right leg had atrophied quite substantially. I went to rehab for a year and I was not happy with my results, and I knew I needed to do something else to improve my muscle strength and tone to my leg.
My husband started to train with Joe and I started to see results fairly quickly for him. So since I was determined to restore the strength to my leg, I gave Joe a try hoping for more positive results.
My situation was unique to Joe because he had never trained anyone with a knee replacement before. Joe created a training routine based on my challenge of a knee replacement, and my goals I had set for myself. I wanted to build my muscle back up in my leg, and tone at the same time. I also wanted to be back on the slopes skiing.
Joe exceeded my expectations. He created an all encompassing body workout routine, based on my needs. I am probably in the best shape of my life now, under his guidance and custom personal training. Working out will always be a challenge for me, but Joe has always kept me motivated and on track. He has really worked me hard, and yet at the same time has always been sensitive to my challenges. Needless to say it has been a very challenging and rewarding experience. I am confident in saying that I am much physically stronger and in better shape today because of Joe.
