What attracted you to TrainSMART?
The thing that drew me most about TrainSMART was the passion and knowledge of the team. Passion and knowledge about learning as well as sharing what they’ve learned with their clients to help them move and feel better. It’s really just when someone else is passionate about it, it helps to fuel that within you and when it’s supported by sound knowledge, science-based evidence, it’s just the right way to go.
How is TrainSMART uniquely positioned?
TrainSMART is really unique because of education a lot of our trainers have and the amount of time and energy that the whole team puts into continuing education for ourselves as well as the people we network with, and the fact that we are willing to admit when we might not have all the tools we need or have the best answer, that we have the network to go to and find the right person to help us to provide the best possible service to our clients here so that they can move the best and feel better. So I think it’s that huge network both of other professionals as well as continuing our professional development and education.
Favorite part of the job?
My favorite part about working at TrainSMART is the clients. Because of our systems, because we do semi-private, we get to have a lot more hands-on time, a lot more individualized attention to our clients and to their specific needs. So we get to show how much we care and provide better care to our clients so that they can feel better and move better. Helping people is a big part of why we do what we do, and because of how we do it, it makes it a much more pleasurable experience hopefully for our clients and certainly for us as trainers.
