The third group had the same nutrition as the third group, the same cardio as the second group, but they added 3 times a week 36 weight lifting workouts, and the results were staggering.
The first group—all they did was change the way they ate: They lost 14.6 pounds of fat.
The second group that did 36 workouts of steady-state cardio, things like walking on a treadmill, running, elliptical machines, biking—you name it—for all of their efforts, 36 extra workouts, they lost an extra pound.
The third group that did the cardio and nutrition as the [first two groups] but they added 36 weight training workouts, for their efforts, they lost 21.1 pounds or 44 percent more than nutrition alone.
